Bay of Quinte Badminton Club (BQBC)
2025-2026 season Information
Due to high demand for club membership and limited court space and time, our members should be committed to participating in weekend tournaments during the season. We will be hosting a tournament this year and require parental assistance for the organization of the tournament.
REGISTRATION FOR OUR SUNDAY JUNIOR PROGRAM IS NOW FULL. IF INTERESTED, JOIN THE WAITLIST.
Our Vision
The motivation for the BQBC is to introduce young athletes to the sport of badminton and to develop their skills so that they can compete at district tournaments. Our challenge is to develop athletes to be able to compete at the Provincial level and beyond.
Maturity Requirements
The BQBC accepts players ages 10-18 at the start of the season.
Practices require completion of drills and a focus on a particular skill. In spite of
our goal for skill improvement, we recognize the need for our players to simply
have some fun, some competition and to enjoy the company of friends and peers. Parents are welcome to be spectators at practice. Sometimes they will be called upon to assist, but generally their assistance will be with children other than their own.
